Macro – high speed flash

Small things look great with a long focal length lens and high speed flash to darken the background. Here’s my experiment with a small pearl necklace in a box. I set it up on a table top with a black cloth, 4 Godox TT685 flashes using a wireless trigger, and Nikon Z 6 with a Nikkor Z 24-200mm lens.

A sweeping HDR panorama of Singapore skyline constructed from more than 30 individual photos using Microsoft’s Image Compositing Editor and later edited in Photoshop for color, contrast and details enhancements. The additional drama in the sky is just a lucky coincidence!
